Based in Prestbury, Cheshire, I have 30 years’ experience and qualifications. Operating mostly from my home studio, I have a Reformer Pilates machine, assault bike, massage table and weight-lifting bar – all the essentials for targeting a comprehensive training regime.

Whatever your ability, my tailored training programmes will help you meet and exceed your running goals. My concept is simple yet unique: I combine preventative sports massage therapy with science based coaching to improve your running technique. If you’ve suffered injuries caused by running, I can help with that too. My training programmes are designed around your personal goals and requirements and will greatly reduce your chances of future injury.

Single Sessions (60 mins) for £60  Half Session (30 mins) for £30 • 10 Sessions (3 month course) for £500


Strength and Conditioning

As a strength and conditioning coach, I don’t have a bias towards any particular training method, but believe that as we age, our training should evolve. And that’s why I’ve made it my mission to build a broad range of fitness skills. By using all my skills, I can personalise a routine that works for you. What you want, may be very different from what you need, and it’s my job to guide you and work with you towards a common goal.

Strength and conditioning can be broken down into 4 pillars:

  • Spinal engine
  • Strength
  • Energy System Development (ESD)
  • Recovery/rejuvenation

There’s a common misconception that I’m a physio, and while of course, this isn’t the case, I do have an excellent network of medical specialists and will be happy refer you on to.

My clients range from primary school children to pensioners (age 10 to 90), from keen beginners to county level athletes. I help kids run faster, get stronger and improve their breathing through posture, while also carrying out home visits for older, less able clients.

Training for life

Every coach has their own philosophy and as I mature, become less competitive and more spiritual about the value of loving life, free from aches and pains, I have come to the conclusion that fitness is for life.  My vision is to be a young, old man, enjoying life surrounded by my family.

Bridging the gap between therapist and trainer, my concept is unique. By using all my skills, I’m single-handedly trying to change the way people view their health, fitness and movement goals.
